A short autobiography:

A former social worker, counselor, educator, these days my focus has returned to my earliest interest, Art.

Always visual, my first memories of the magic that is stained glass were of double doors in an aged great aunt's Victorian home in Pawling, NY. Much time was spent attempting to see the world through the stacked bands of intense color, always yearning for the color above the one seen from tiptoes.

Now grown and seasoned, I design and build pieces from this unique material with the same hunger for light and color. Currently all pieces are of my own design, sometimes inspiration comes from another medium revised to accommodate the limitations of glass. I enjoy creating custom work for my customers, and also relish the challenge of repairs. My creations may be of leaded glass, utilizing lead or zinc came, or they may be fabricated using copper foil. Some are combinations of these techniques. Major themes include nature, geometric, and traditional celtic designs.

It is with great pleasure I join Skaneateles Artisans, it has been a long time since I have known the excitement and stimulation of being part of a group of artists, other than my family.
